About the event
Emergency Medical Responder is a dynamic 56-hour course featuring lecture, video, simulated emergency situations, discussion and hands-on skill practice based on the national EMS curriculum requirements and educational standards.
Provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients
Assist higher-level personnel at the scene and during transport
Perform basic interventions using minimal equipment
Gain the knowledge and skills to stabilize patients while awaiting additional EMS resources
