7. Integrate UAS with ATAK, including real-time georeferenced video sharing.

8. Combine mesh networking and UAS use in ATAK for advanced applications.

9. Troubleshoot common issues and know where to seek further assistance and resources.

Instructional Method

This course will involve instructor-led presentations, demonstrations, hands-on activities with

ATAK, and group discussions. There will be a mix of theoretical learning and practical

application to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the material.

Provided Equipment

All participants will be provided with compatible Android devices and UAS for use during the

course. All other necessary materials will be provided by the instructor.

After completing the 3-day comprehensive ATAK training course, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the fundamentals of ATAK, including its history, purpose, and applications

in public safety.

2. Navigate and configure ATAK's user interface and map view, gaining proficiency in

basic navigation and utilization of geospatial tools.

3. Set up and manage real-time tracking and data sharing for effective collaboration in

public safety scenarios.

4. Apply ATAK in simulated public safety scenarios to practice and demonstrate learned

skills.

5. Configure advanced ATAK settings to customize the user experience and optimize

performance.

6. Connect to and manage TAK Servers, understanding their purpose and functionalities.

7. Create, distribute, and import data packages in ATAK for effective data management

and sharing.
